Why study the Psalms? The Psalms are “theological poetry” with many Psalms containing praises to God for His creation and sovereign works among His covenant people. The Psalms describe how God is sufficient for all of life’s challenges, sufferings and setbacks. Through a careful study of the Psalms, believers will be encouraged to trust God for their present circumstances and for their future.
