Why study Joshua? The Book of Joshua reveals the faithfulness of God to His people whom He brought into the promised land. However, the fulfillment of the promises of God for the land was not automatic.  God required that His people be faithful to Him and worship Him alone. God required obedience to His covenant and all that he required. Those who were not obedient to God suffered setbacks, failures and many lost their lives.
